i'm having one of those really shitty stressful days where i'm swearing at my computer and muttering threats to the perpetually-chatting student workes under my breath. oy!!! i only have nine days left of this job but that is nine too many.

luckily lunch is approaching soon, and i'm going to splurge and go to the regulator for a soothing chai and hopefully will run into erika there.

oh, everyone! don't forget to listen to wxdu tonight from ten to midnight! me, keith, and christina will be interviewing merge staffers and special guests to celebrate their 15th anniversary, and we'll have special prizes and stuff. hopefully we won't repeat too much of wxyc's merge show (which i listened to for a while, and was all bummed that they played a bunch of my favorite merge songs, so now i can't play them).

i'm just gonna note "special guests" again. hopefully we'll remember to record it!

note to self: get oil changed asap.

special guests from merge...meanwhile I'm doing a show in State College this sec and cursing that I can't find the copy of Here's To Shutting Up.

If these guests are the likely suspects, I'm green with envy.

oh, it was just some "chapel hill area > centre county" whining. I wanna meet Superchunk (esp. Jon Wurster, that guy is hysterical)! :(

you'll have to wait a week to really love me, then--tonight's show is dedicated to merge's 15 anniversary, so we'll only be playing stuff from that label. :)

I'm sorry. The FCC doesn't allow that. It is not meant to "impugne" you, but some poor unsuspecting soul might listen to XDU and think you were excited about 21 bands in 5 nights and a label that's been around for 15 yrs.
