wrap-ups of georg's superfun party (and lots of info on the uber-delicious lemon chiffon cake sarah made) can be found here, here, and here. sheesh, we are all total blogging nerds. :) definitely check out the photos of the cake on lisa's blog if you want to see how much awesomeness you missed. one of the highlights for me was hearing the essex green cd playing--i couldn't help but sing along, and even funnier was that was the track playing on my ipod when i showed it off to everyone. how i love my ipod.
oh, and i'm psyched to see everyone in adorable clothes for chicks rock on friday! i just realized i don't have any adorable skirts that match the chicks rock shirt i'll be wearing, darn. maybe i'll just wear my crinoline miniskirt, and then i can be a walking ad for the untidy. haha.
so i was having this really involved dream this morning when my alarm went off, and of course it faded away immediately, with just a hint of a dream-storefront shimmering behind my eyes. then it all came rushing back to me in the shower in one vivid movie-like swoop--very soap operatic confessions of mutual hidden love, and whatnot. even in my dreams things go badly, though, as we turned out to be incompatible kissers and he walked away. it was pretty hilarious, and i choose to take it as a sign that i should not nurture crushes on soon-to-be neighbors. :)
ps- i jsut used the phrase "totally on our nuts" in regard to the indy's coverage of chicks rock this week (we got a write-up in "best bets" and a photo in the concert calendar section). hee.
ps again-the only thing that is keeping me from bursting into tears at work today is a bag of salt-water taffy. my job is really unpleasant right now.
